This piece displays extremely well and is a very desirable size. These specimens are known as shrapnel specimens, ripped and torn edges reminiscent of bomb shrapnel. They broke due to atmospheric pressure and\/or mid-air collisions, and possibly explosive fragmentation upon impact.
