1 Only

This rarely offered specimen shows a group of minerals and crystals from the Aris Querries in Namibia . The grouping includes multiples of well defined Makatite white hairs, brown to green fibers of tupperssautsiatite, black neptunite, bastneasite and pink villiaumite in a vug of a phonolite host rock matrix.  It also appears that small apophyllite crystals are present in this amazing specimen.

Makatite is a rare hydrated sodium silicate found in Namibia's unique intrusive phonolite deposits. These uncommon geological formations have produced some of the finest and most sought-after makatite crystals known. This piece is excellent for the species with groups of silky white tufts of hair-like crystals at the tip of the specimen. The sprays are well defined and easy to see. The white sprays make a great contrast with the gray phonolite.  Add the other visible variety of crystals and you have a unique and amazing specimen.  This is a rare and excellent cabinet sized piece from this locality.
