This is a stunning Henbury classified meteorite from the Michael McCord Meteorites (Collecting Space) collection. It weighs 3.69 grams and measures 20x14x7mm. This Iron (IIIAB) Medium Octahedrite classified meteorite was found in the Northern Territory of Australia in 1931. So far approximately 2T of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well. This Australian find is very well shaped and preserved. These pieces are becoming more difficult to acquire so this is a good time to get a fine specimen.
Henbury fell 8 miles southwest of the town of Henbury, Australia almost 10,000 years ago. RA Alderman investigated the site in May 1931 based upon Aborigine stories. He found 13 craters, the largest of which was 720 x 360 feet. Few meteorites were found in the largest three craters indicating an explosive impact. Some of the Henbury meteorites are shrapnel shaped indicating this explosive ending and some have smooth edges indicating abrasion by an atmospheric passage.
Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Will come with a Canagem specimen card.

This is a perfectly fossilized and highly polished natural Ammonite from Morocco, which is perfect for gift giving to a new fossil collector. Ammonites are perhaps the most widely known fossil, possessing the typically ribbed spiral-form shell. These creatures lived in the seas between 240 - 65 million years ago, when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. They belong to a group of predators known as cephalopods, which includes their living relatives the octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus. It is probably going to be one of the rarest collection item you'll ever own. These are perfect if you make jewelry and similar crafts or as a fossil collection item.

This a lovely pair of fossilized, and highly polished natural Orthoceras from Morocco. They measure 37x11 mm each and have a total weight of 7.7 grams. Orthoceras ("straight horn") is a genus of extinct cephalopod. This genus is sometimes called Orthoceratites. Note it is sometimes misspelled as Orthocera, Orthocerus or Orthoceros. Orthoceras are common fossils and have been found on many continents, including the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia. They are dated to the lower Ordovician to Triassic ages (500 to 190 millions years ago). They belong to a group of predators known as cephalopods, which includes their living relatives the octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus.
Orthoceras fossils are great as a collectors item or can be used for jewelry making.
This is a superb looking individual of a Dhofar 200 classified meteorite weighing 4.8 grams and measuring 25x20x8 mm. This H4 classified meteorite was found in Oman in 2000. This piece displays extremely well and would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Michael Cottingham Meteorite Collection and a Canagem Collection specimen card.
An olivine volcanic bomb is a type of volcanic rock that contains olivine crystals and has been ejected during a volcanic eruption. Olivine is a mineral that is commonly found in the Earth's mantle and is one of the first minerals to crystallize as magma cools.
Volcanic bombs are large clots of lava that are ejected from a volcano during an explosive eruption. They can vary in size, and their shapes are often streamlined due to their molten nature as they are thrown through the air. When these volcanic bombs contain olivine crystals, they are referred to as olivine volcanic bombs.
Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Chabazite is known for its distinctive crystal structure and its occurrence in a variety of geological environments. Its crystal structure consists of interconnected channels and cavities. Chabazite is found in various locations around the world, including Italy, Iceland, Scotland, the Faroe Islands, the United States (especially in the Pacific Northwest), Canada, India, and Australia. Different localities may produce chabazite crystals with varying colors and characteristics.
These chabazite crystals are from Wasson’s Bluff, Nova Scotia, Canada. Wasson's Bluff is recognized as producing great specimens with colors varying from pink to orange to red. This zone has seen collection of specimens almost exhausted due to the ground erosion. These particular specimens are a lovely orangey color and are in very good condition. Make these a special specimen pair in your collection.
