This is an outstanding Impact Melt Glass specimen or bomb weighing 11.7 grams.  Its dimensions are 41x27x20 mm.  Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts.

This Henbury glass, or more specifically vesicular impactite, was found in the Northern Territory of Australia. Thirteen craters were found 8 miles southwest of the town of Henbury, the largest of which was 720 x 360 feet.  Henbury impactite was formed by a meteorite impact that occurred around 4,700 years ago. The meteorite is believed to have exploded upon entering the Earth's atmosphere, creating multiple craters which produced the impact glass.

The term encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc.

This piece displays extremely well.  It is amazingly light considering its mass.  It has a unique hollow sound when you tap it.  This Australian find is very well shaped and preserved. Its dimensions are 21x11x8mm.  This Iron (IIIAB) Medium Octahedrite classified meteorite was found in the Northern Territory of Australia in 1931. So far approximately 2T of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well.  This Australian find is very well shaped and preserved. These pieces are becoming more difficult to acquire so this is a good time to get a fine specimen.

He found 13 craters, the largest of which was 720 x 360 feet. Few meteorites were found in the largest three craters indicating an explosive impact. Some of the Henbury meteorites are shrapnel shaped indicating this explosive ending and some have smooth edges indicating abrasion by an atmospheric passage.

Also known as the cinnamon stone, hessonite is the yellow orange to reddish orange variety of grossular garnet.

Mordenite was first described in 1864 by Henry How. He named it after the small community of Morden, Nova Scotia, Canada, along the Bay of Fundy, where it was first found.  It is one of the most abundant zeolites and is found in volcanic rock such as rhyolite, andesite, and basalt. It is associated with other zeolites such as stilbite and heulandite.
