Hexagonite is a manganese-rich transparent pink to pale lilac to purplish colour variety of Tremolite.  Hexagonite may show pleochroic colours: bluish-red to deep reddish violet.   This specimen is a solid mass of lavender, or purple, hexagonite crystals, or sprays. 

This top specimen of hexagonite from Fowler, New York is in very good condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

This is a cut section of a colorful rock material of bluish-brown Triphylite from the New Hampshire area.  The mine number is not available for this specimen, so it could have come from any of the Palermo mines.  Superb example specimen professionally prepared and in perfect condition.
