This is a must have 38.6 gram Impact Melt Rock from the Dellen Crater, north of Stokholm, Sweden. Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection items you'll ever own. Impactite is a slag-like glassy object found on the surface of the earth, formed from rock melted by the impact of a meteorite.

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc.

This impactite was formed approx. 89 million years ago when a meteorite crashed into the earth making a round crater which is now a lake about 11 miles wide. The term tagamite was introduced in 1975 to describe impact rock from the Popigai crater in Russia. Varieties of tagamites are described based on crystallinity, texture and clast content.   HT Tagamite differs from other material due to the complete melting of the crystalline matrix and then being subjected to rapid cooling.

This is a stunning thumbnail sized specimen of Quartz and Hydroxylherderite.  There are many fully terminated quartz point, some of them surrounding the Hydroxylherderite.  Some crystallized pyrite is visible on the bottom of the cluster.

Quartz crystals are among the most abundant and well-known minerals on Earth. Quartz belongs to the hexagonal crystal system. It typically forms six-sided prismatic crystals with a pointed termination. Its crystals can be colorless or exhibit a wide range of colors. The color variations are often due to the presence of impurities or trace elements during the crystal's formation. Quartz is transparent to translucent. 

Hydroxylherderite is a relatively rare mineral that belongs to the phosphate mineral group. It is comes in a variety of colours: Colourless, gray, brown, pale yellow, greenish white, light blue, and purple.  Notable occurrences of Hydroxylherderite include Brazil, Afghanistan, and the United States.

This specimen would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

Iceland spar, formerly called Iceland crystal (Icelandic: silfurberg [ˈsɪlvʏrˌpɛrk], lit. 'silver-rock') and also called optical calcite, is a transparent variety of calcite, or crystallized calcium carbonate, originally brought from Iceland, and used in demonstrating the polarization of light.  

The most common crystal structure of Iceland spar is rhombohedral, but other structures, such as scalenohedral or prismatic, can form depending on formation conditions. Iceland spar is primarily found in Iceland but can occur in different parts of the world with suitable geological conditions such as China.

This is a fabulous individual 1.56 gram Imilac Pallasite stony iron classified meteorite.  This superb meteorite was found in the Atacama Desert Chile in 1822 and has a total known weight of ~920 kg.  Small fragments of Imilac often lack the olivine crystals which have weathered out leaving a skeleton of nickel iron metal.

This is a must have 58.9 gram Metal Ore Copper rich Impact Breccia from the famous Sudbury Astrobleme Impact Structure in Ontario Canada. Its dimensions are 57x45x9mm.  Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection pieces you'll ever own. 

About 1.87 billion years ago, an object from space nine kilometers in diameter slammed into Canada, a little north of Sudbury, Ontario creating the second largest impact structure on the earth. This impact was equivalent to a billion tons of TNT. An impact so big it cracked the earth, and in fact there are still earthquakes because of that event today!  The many mineral rich deposits and strange rock formations in such close proximity has attracted attention for 100's of years, long before its impact origin was known. 

Note that this is not a meteorite but a slice of Earth rock, altered by the impact of a very large meteorite.  This came from the ring of the impact and is the harder to find gold-copper-bronze colored impactite described as a metal-rich breccia and sulfides composed chiefly of some amount of iridium, cobalt & selenium. This is a must have slice of Brent pinkish gneiss impact breccia. It is roughly diamond shaped with dimensions of 140x75x8 mm and a weight of 106 grams.  It comes together with a collectable twelve-page booklet, with paper a cover, entitled Brent Crater Trail: History of the Crater.

This 14x21.5cm fully illustrated collectible trail guide was published in 1998 and is a great introduction to the Brent Crater.  It examines the history of the Brent Crater, discovered in 1951, one of Canada’s many meteorite impact craters. The crater itself is about 3.8 km in diameter and is estimated to be 396-million year old (+ or - 20 million years).

It is amazingly light considering its mass of 54x42x25 mm.  Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection item you'll ever own. Sääksjärvi is a lake in Kokemäki, Satakunta, western Finland, east of the town of Pori. The lake is notable because it overlies an impact crater.  The crater is 5 kilometres (3 mi) in diameter and is completely buried under the lake and is not visible at the surface. The age of the impact structure is estimated to be about 543 ± 12 Ma (million years ago), at the boundary between the Ediacaran and Cambrian periods. There are impactite rocks in the southwestern region from the crater confirming its extraterrestrial origin. At the time of its discovery, only one impact crater (Lappajärvi) was known in Finland.
