You will receive 1 Ammonite half selected at random.  Each Ammonite is beautiful and unique, variations in size and color should be expected.  Note that the specimen shown in the photos represent a small selection of what we have in stock, the size and color of the specimen we send will vary.

This is a perfectly fossilized and highly polished natural Ammonite from Morocco which is perfect for gift giving to a new fossil collector. Ammonites are perhaps the most widely known fossil, possessing the typically ribbed spiral-form shell. These creatures lived in the seas between 240 - 65 million years ago, when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. They belong to a group of predators known as cephalopods, which includes their living relatives the octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus.  These are perfect if you make jewelry and similar crafts or as a fossil collection item.  They average 25 to 50 grams in weight and between 30 and 50 mm in length.

This is a strand of bright green Peridot beads with an overall length of 38 cm (15 inches).  The individual gemstone beads are pear shaped and range in size from 4.5x4 to 8x4 mm.  In total, the bead strand contains over 32ct of natural Peridot beads.
