Cubic and crystallized pyrite matrix with calcite crystal cluster. This top Peruvian specimen is in very good condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.
Name: Pyrite with Calcite Crystal Cluster
Specimen Size: Miniature-Sized
Dimensions: 44x34x21 mm / 1.7x1.3x0.8 inches
Weight: 38 Grams / 1.3 oz
Origin: Mined in Peru
This is a natural cluster formation of large calcite crystals with hematite inclusions. This piece has some white color to translucent crystals with areas of orange/red coloring from hematite inclusions, with sharp tabular crystal formations. There are some nicks and imperfections on a few crystals but would still shine in the proper setup. Those don't take away from how interesting this piece is. Would be a nice addition to any new or existing collection.

This beautiful cluster combines tetrahedrite and calcite crystals. Tetrahedrite crystals are fascinating minerals known for their distinctive tetrahedral shape and shiny, metallic luster. It typically forms in well-defined tetrahedral crystals, which can be grouped in clusters. The color range includes shades of metallic gray, black, and sometimes reddish hues due to the presence of copper and other trace elements. Tetrahedrite is commonly found in hydrothermal veins and is often associated with other minerals such as quartz, galena, and sphalerite.
Tetrahedrite is believed to promote emotional healing and provide a protective shield against negativity. It is thought to enhance creativity and clarity, helping individuals connect with their inner selves.
