Maw Sit Sit is a rare gemstone, often mistaken for jade but composed of a unique combination of minerals. Its vibrant green color comes from the presence of chromium, with black, white, or darker green veins formed by other mineral inclusions. The color range can vary from bright emerald green to darker forest green, often with striking marbled patterns.

Discovered in the 1960s in the village of Maw Sit in northern Myanmar, Maw Sit Sit gained popularity for its brilliant color and rarity. While it less well-known than jade, its exclusivity and the vibrant shades of green make it highly desirable. The gem is found only in Myanmar's jadeite mining regions, making it one of the more limited gemstones on the market.

Apatite is a group of phosphate minerals that are commonly found in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks.  Apatite is named after the Greek word "apate," which means deceit, as it can be easily confused with other minerals due to its wide range of colors and forms. It can occur in various colors, including green, blue, yellow, brown, and violet. 

The cat's eye effect in apatite is caused by the presence of parallel needle-like inclusions within the stone.  The color of apatite cat's eye can vary, but it is often seen in shades of green or blue. The intensity and quality of the cat's eye effect can also vary from stone to stone.
