This is a fine part slice specimen of the Northwest Africa (NWA) 2859 meteorite found in the Sahara Desert in 2004. This nice collectible H4 chondrite consista of a brecciated matrix with light and dark clasts and is characterized by abundant chondrules and metal flakes. The total Mass is registered at 920 grams from a single stone. The Shock stage is recorded at 2 and the Weathering grade is also a 2. This is a nice piece weighing 10.4 grams with dimensions of 41x18x6 mm.
This piece displays very well and would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Unit price perThis is a superb slice of the rare Northwest Africa 3134 meteorite, weighing 0.328 grams and measuring 11x10x1 mm. This is 1 of 136 approved meteorites classified as EL-6.
This 328mg part slice of NWA 3134 is a Rare EL6, W0/1 Enstatite Chondrite found in 2004 in the Sahara Desert. Enstatites are very rare, accounting for less than 2% of the chondrites. The interior of this meteorite is extremely fresh rating a W0 (no weathering). The W1 was added because of an exterior weathering rind, which hid the beauty of this specimen until it was cut. A total known weight of 970 grams is recorded for this find. Dual type specimens were submitted to two different institutions because rare minerals were found in an excellent state of preservation.
This hard to acquire piece displays very well with its diamond lap finish, it is a high quality specimen that would make an amazing addition to any new or existing collection. Comes in a membrane box with a Canagem and a Hupé specimen card.

Unit price perThis is an incredible Korra Korrabes meteorite end cut of 18.1 grams, it measures 68x22x9 mm. This gorgeous classified meteorite is an H3 Chondrite and part of a 22 kg stone plus 11 smaller pieces totaling ~18 kg that were found November 1996 in a dry river bed by a farmer who was searching for Gibeon irons.
People searching with metal detectors recovered hundreds of additional buried, more weathered pieces within 50 m of the original material since 2000 November, bringing the total mass to ~120–130 kg. The largest specimen was used in a garden wall until August 2000.
This amazing piece was professionally prepared and would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Unit price perThis is a great end cut of the Nuevo Mercurio meteorite. Nuevo Mercurio is classified as a Stone Olivine-bronzite H5 chondrite. It fell on 15 Dec 1978 in Zacatecas, Mexico. At 1850 hrs on December 15, 1978, a bright fireball, traveling NE to SW and visible over a radius of at least 200 km, exploded over north-central Mexico and scattered meteorites over an elliptical area more than 10 km in length.
A total of around 300 individuals were found totaling 5+ kilograms. This specimen was picked up shortly after the fall and is very fresh. This is a great specimen that weighs 0.62 grams.
Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Will come with a Michael Cottingham Meteorite Collection and a Canagem® specimen card.

Originaly classified as an L4/6, this now L5 classified meteorite was part of the 16 stones found in the Shişr Desert of Oman by Russian meteorite hunters in 2001 with a total mass of 17.6 Kg. The shock stage of 3 and weathering grade of 3 is recorded for these pieces.

Unit price perThis is a fantastic 3.87 gram part slice NWA (Northwest Africa) 869 L3-6 classified meteorite. The dimensions of the specimen are 15x9x9 mm. This part slice displays a superb crust on one surface and and multiple cut faces that have been professionally prepared to show all the chondrules typical of the best 869s.
Most NWA 869 samples are individual meteorites but some fragments (mostly >1 kg) also occur. In most cases the fusion crust has been polished or ablated by wind erosion. Many samples are more severely affected and show faces with deep wind erosion features. Fracture faces, formed by ground collision, show a typical gray-green color and sometimes visible brecciation (light and/or dark clasts).
