Unit price perThis is an incredible part slice of the Abee meteorite (MB 8) that fell in Alberta, Canada at 11:05 p.m. on June 9th 1952. It took five days to find it in a wheat field belonging to Mr. Harry Buryn. It is located in the community of Abee, Alberta, Canada in Thorhild County, along the Canadian National Railway and Highway 63, 16 km north of Thorhild and 49 km from Boyle.
This rare and highly collectable EH4 Enstatite chondrite is 1 of only 21 approved meteorites classified as such, 1 of 3 being an observed fall and only 1 of 5 not found in Antarctica. The total Mass is registered at 107 Kilograms in one stone recovered from a 6 ft (1.8 m) deep crater. This is a great specimen at .31 grams.
This hard to acquire piece is a high quality specimen that would make an amazing addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with an official COA from the New England Meteoritical Services, a Michael Farmer Meteorites and a Canagem Collection specimen card and is protected in a display box.

This single mass of 8.86 kg was found in a grass field by Mr. J. Talbert while farming. The classification and mineralogy performed by R. Jones, UNM and A. Rubin, UCLA, determined it to be an annealed impact melt rock. It has a shock stage of S2 and a moderate weathering grade of W2.

Unit price perThis is a great looking H5 classified meteorite and a great looking professionally prepared full slice, this excellent specimen weighs 15.88 grams and represents the Capot Rey meteorite found in 2004 in Niger. The total know weight of the find is at 38 Kilograms with a shock stage of S2 and weathering degree of W1. This full slice measures 55x32x3 mm.
Many stony fragments totalling 38 kg were found by by G. Moreau in the erg Capot-Rey, Ténéré du Tafassasset, Niger. The stones define an elliptical strewn-field measuring 7x3.5 km, with a NE-SW major axis. The largest fragment weighs 2 kg.

Unit price perThis is an amazing 17.54 gram slice of Sahara 02500 L3 classified meteorite. The dimensions of the specimen are 45x34x6 mm.
These meteorites are very beautiful with a highly contrasting and surprisingly colorful texture, often brecciated with numerous clasts. There is not a lot of fusion crust, however, they are only slightly weathered, as they have been found on the desert surface. The meteorites final publication and official naming by the Nomenclature Committee of the Meteoritical Society was expected to be a L3.8 but officially became an L3 with a Shock stage of S2 and a Weathering grade of W1. The name used in the field of Wadi Mellene is the origin of it's find according to the locals.

Unit price perThis is a fantastic crusted 10 grams NWA (Northwest Africa) 869 L3-6 classified meteorite individual found by Nomads in the Sahara Desert. The dimensions of the specimen are 21x15x16 mm. This specimen comes from the Hupé Collection.
NWA 869 classified meteorites can still be interesting and this one is for sure perfectly shaped to catch your attention. It displays a superb crust on most of its surface. Most samples are individual meteorites but some fragments (mostly >1 kg) also occur. In most cases the fusion crust has been polished or ablated by wind erosion. Many samples are more severely affected and show faces with deep wind erosion features. Fracture faces, formed by ground collision, show a typical gray-green color and sometimes visible brecciation (light and/or dark clasts).
