It is primarily composed of silica-rich minerals, including quartz and feldspar, which contribute to its striking appearance. The stone typically features a mix of greens, browns, creams, and occasional reds, forming intricate, mosaic-like patterns.  Rainforest Jasper forms through the solidification of rhyolitic lava, which traps gas bubbles filled with siliceous materials during the cooling process. This results in the unique patterns and colors characteristic of the stone.  It is predominantly found in Queensland, Australia, where it is mined from volcanic deposits. .
