Here we have for you a nice looking individual cut fragment of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 52.7 grams. Its dimensions are 41x33x22mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

It's a good quality individual cut fragment NWA meteorite specimen. Some weathering shows the meteorite's time spent aging in the desert. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

This is a 37.9 gram Impact Melt Rock from the Dhala Impact Structure, India. It measures 69x60x6 mm.  Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection items you'll ever own. Impactite is a slag-like glassy object found on the surface of the earth, formed from rock melted by the impact of a meteorite.

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc.

This beautiful Impact melt rock comes from the 11 km-diameter highly eroded Dhala impact structure in India. The Dhala structure has an estimated age of about 2Ga (2,000 Ma), making it the third oldest terrestrial impact structure.

This gorgeous end cut displays very well.  Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

This is a natural cluster formation of large calcite crystals with hematite inclusions. This piece has some white color to translucent crystals with areas of orange/red coloring from hematite inclusions, with sharp tabular crystal formations. There are some nicks and imperfections on a few crystals but would still shine in the proper setup.  They don't take away from how interesting this piece is.  Would be a nice addition to any new or existing collection.

Volcanic bombs are large clots of volcanic lava rock that are ejected from a volcano during an explosive eruption. They can vary in size, and their shapes are often streamlined due to their molten nature as they are thrown through the air. When these volcanic lava rocks contain olivine crystals, they are referred to as olivine volcanic bombs.

Mount Shadwell, a dormant volcano, was formed 25,000 years ago and is believed to have last erupted about 5,000 years ago. The town of Mortlake, which is situated at the foot of the volcano, is the self-proclaimed olivine capital of Australia.  This is where large ejected rocks from Mt Shadwell, called volcanic bombs, are found.

This huge museum piece has been cut to show the green olivine crystals which are showcased beautifully against the surrounding black lava crust.

We have for you a large Duckbill style gypsum var Selenite from world famous Red River Floodway in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.  This is a large floater gypsum crystal cluster that occurred in the Pleistocene Age in Lake Agassiz clay. The distribution of the gypsum covers a 20 kilometer wide area, but the Floodway is one of the few excavations in the very flat terrain deep enough to intersect the gypsum layer.

The Red River Floodway has become famous, not only for its engineering marvel but also for the extremely unusual selenite specimens that were discovered during excavations. The formation is due to two generations of growth with the first growth forming near-spherical rosettes of stout intergrown crystals and the second growth, that made them famous, grew large golden crystals with a unique twinning shape that resembled a duck’s bill. These “duckbill” selenites are famous the world over and have found nowhere else in the world to date and collecting is now carefully controlled. Specimens range from having a single crystal, to having many radiating from the rosette. Some rare examples have two rosettes conjoined in striking formations. This specimen is in excellent condition.

This specimen of Vesuvianite was collected in the now closed Jeffery Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. The specimen is made up of a combination of green and mauve vesuvianite crystals. It is in good condition. A great addition to any collection!

Vesuvianite was first discovered on Mount Vesuvius in Italy in the 18th century, hence its name. It typically occurs as a green, brown, yellow, or blue-green crystal, and is often found in metamorphic and igneous rocks. The alternate name, Idocrase, is from the Greek eidos “form”, and krasis “mixture”, because Vesuvianite often appears to combine the crystal forms of other minerals. It is used as a gemstone.

This is Adamite Crystals on Matrix mined in Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.  Adamite typically occur as small, brightly colored, prismatic or blocky crystals, or as crusts or aggregates. It is commonly found in association with other minerals such as limonite, calcite, and smithsonite.  Adamite colors include green, yellow, white, and reddish-brown. The green color of adamite is caused by the presence of traces of copper in its crystal structure.  One of the unique features of adamite is its strong fluorescence under ultraviolet (UV) light. It can exhibit vibrant green or yellow fluorescence.

Adamite was first discovered in 1866 in the Ojuela Mine in Durango, Mexico. It was named after French mineralogist Gilbert-Joseph Adam (1795-1881), who studied the mineralogy of the mine.

Adamite is associated with joy, creativity, and the balancing of energies. Some believe it can enhance one's ability to express themselves and promote a positive outlook.  It is highly valued by collectors for its bright colors and distinctive crystal habits and would be a great addition to any new or existing collection.
