Here we have for you a superb looking Stony-iron or Mesosiderite Vaca Muerta (Dead Cow) classified meteorite weighing 34 grams. Its dimensions are 34x24x26 mm.

This classified meteorite was found in 1861 in the driest desert of the world called the Atacama, in Chile. Mesosiderites are formed on the surface of a parent body as a result of impacts with another body. The impact mixed broken fragments of surface eucrites with iron and olivine from deep within the body. Eucrites are believed to have come from the asteroid Vesta. Analysis has shown, however, that the Vaca Muerta eucrite inclusions are not consistent with other eucrites and possibly originated on a different parent body. Although most have a weathered exterior, they also have lots of metal inside and can be prepared and cut to show this.

This piece displays extremely well and would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.  Comes with a Canagem® specimen card.

This is a beautiful sample of the famous iron meteorite Campo del Cielo (Heaven’s Field in Spanish) that was found in Chaco Province, Argentina, in 1576 by Spanish explorers.  This is a solid iron individual meteorite classified as IAB Silicated.  This incredible specimen has many large regmaglypts and scoops (or thumb prints).

This meteorite is classified as an Iron polycrystalline coarse octahedrite (IAB).  It weighs 7.9 Kg (17.4 Lbs) and measures 25.5x14.5x7.3 cm (10x5.7x2.9 inches).

This piece displays extremely well and is a very desirable size.  It is a great example of this iron type meteorite.  Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.  Would make a beautiful addition to any collection.

This is a beautiful cluster of clear terminated quartz points.  Quartz crystals are among the most abundant and well-known minerals on Earth. It belongs to the hexagonal crystal system, and typically forms six-sided prismatic crystals with a pointed termination. Its crystals can be colorless or exhibit a wide range of colors. The color variations are often due to the presence of impurities or trace elements during the crystal's formation. Quartz is transparent to translucent.

This is a large and incredible specimen combining Apophyllite and Stilbite.  There our multiple double terminated Apophyllite crystals on this specimen.  It is truly amazing.

One of the distinguishing features of apophyllite is its ability to form well-defined crystals with a pyramid-like shape. These crystals often exhibit a prismatic or pseudo-cubic habit and have a vitreous luster. Apophyllite is transparent to translucent and is commonly found in colorless or white varieties, although it can also occur in shades of green, pink, yellow, or brown.

Stilbite is a zeolite mineral appreciated for its delicate crystal formations and pastel hues, ranging from colorless to white, yellow, pink, and peach.  It forms distinctive tabular crystals with a bowtie or butterfly shape and exhibits a vitreous to pearly luster. Commonly found in cavities in volcanic rocks, stilbite is associated with other zeolite minerals. It is valued for its aesthetic appeal and is believed by some to have calming energy, supporting spiritual growth and emotional healing.

This is a superb whole specimen of the famous Northwest Africa 2965 meteorite weighing 45.89 grams and measuring 45x38x32 mm. This is a beautiful specimen from the Thomas Phillips Meteorite Collection.

This North West Africa was classified originally as an Enstatite EL6/7, then later as an EL3 and finally an EL-Melt Rock meteorite which was found along with the rest of the total mass of more than 100 Kilograms in the Algerian Desert in August 2005.  This is one of the oldest meteorites on our planet in terms of terrestrial age and has been referred to as a fossil meteorite. 

This Enstatite chondrite shock Level is minimal and weathering varies from 2 to 5. This piece displays extremely well and if cut would show a completely recrystallized enstatite chondrite with polygonal to irregular grain outlines. The grain size varies from 0.02 to 0.7 mm. Round, curved, blocky objects contain coarser-grained orthopyroxene than in the matrix. No relict chondrules were observed.

This hard to acquire piece displays very well with its prehistoric look.  This rare and quality specimen would make an amazing addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with specimen card.
