Unit price perThis entire specimen is covered with many quartz, sphalerite and pyrite crystals.
The deposit known as Dalnegorsk is mined by several different mines. The vast majority of the minerals from Dalnegorsk in collections have no reference to the individual mines. The mines are the Brenner mine (with the Svetlana adit and Olga adit), Nikolaevsky mine, Zentralnye mine, Verkhnii mine, East Partizan, 1st Sovietsky mine and 2nd Sovietsky Mine. There are probably more mines. The name "Tjetjuche" means "valley of the wild pigs" and is the old Chinese name for Dalnegorsk. On older mineral labels this name can be seen.
This top specimen is in very good condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

This Iron (IAB-MG) classified meteorite was found in Chaco Argentina in 1576. So far approximately 50 Tons of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well showing a beautifully polished finish making it a piece of art that would complement any décor.

The Nantan meteorites, named "One of the oldest objects anywhere on Earth", are a must for all collectors, more so that it is now impossible to find worthy specimen. At about 4.5 billion years old, the Nantan meteorite is as ancient as the Earth itself. They are a very interesting IAB-MG iron discovered in 1958, although thought to have fallen in 1516. There is an estimated 9.5 T of this amazing space voyageur. This is 1 of 88 approved meteorites classified as Iron, IAB-MG.
