This is a stunning Campo del Cielo classified meteorite part end cut weighing 1.8 Kg (4 lbs). Its dimensions are 13.5x10.6x4.1 cm (5.3x4.2x1.6 inches).  The polished finish of this piece makes it look like an Ataxite.  

This Iron (IAB-MG) classified meteorite was found in Chaco Argentina in 1576. So far approximately 50 Tons of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well showing a beautifully polished finish making it a piece of art that would complement any décor.

These pieces are becoming more difficult to acquire so this is a good time to get a fine specimen. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.
