This is a specimen of bronze corundum crystals in feldspar matrix from the Burgess Mine, Bancroft, Ontario.

There are numerous corundum crystals embedded in the matrix of feldspar. One is 1" x ½" and sits half exposed in the matrix. On the back is a larger crystal measuring 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" but it only has one surface exposed. This outstanding crystal is in very good condition.
