This is a superb looking Stony-iron or Mesosiderite classified Northwest Africa NWA 2945 classified meteorite; this amazing specimen is a part slice weighing 2 grams with dimensions of 16x12x4 mm.

The Metbul for NWA 2945 states that only one piece weighing 224 grams was recovered in 2005 from a small strewn field in Algeria. The classification of the NWA 2945 is a Mesosiderite with low shock rating of 2, and a degree of weathering also of 2 and most likely paired with the NWA 2924.
