Grossular garnets are a variety of garnet known for their diverse range of colors, transparency, and wide occurrence across different geological settings. The grossular garnet specimens from Lake Jaco, Chihuahua, Mexico are renowned for their classic crystal shape and attractive yellow-green coloration. These particular clusters are beautiful and intricate formations.
Garnets are believed to have properties associated with vitality, courage, and creativity. They are thought to bring balance and stability.

This is a lovely thumbnail specimen of Pyrite from Nikitovka, Ukraine. The pyrite found in this region typically occurs as metallic brassy masses, granular aggregates, and smaller crystal groupings. Unlike the sharp cubic pyrite crystals from Spain or Peru that collectors often recognize immediately, Nikitovka pyrite is more valued for its geological association with mercury minerals than for dramatic crystal form.
Name: Pyrite Crystal
Specimen Size: Cabinet-Sized
Dimensions: 26x26x22 mm / 1.0x1.0x0.9 inches (incl box)
Weight: 4.4 Grams / 0.2 oz
Origin: Mined in Nikitovka, Ukraine
These are attractive and colourful specimens of calcite crystals from Mexico. Calcite is one of the most common and varied minerals on Earth, prized for its wide range of colours and crystal formations. Some of the most popular varieties include orange, blue, green, honey, red, black and pink mangano calcite. In this lot, you have 4 of these colours.
Many people associate coloured calcites with cleansing, emotional balance, and energy amplification. Different colours are believed to carry different energetic qualities:
- Orange - creativity, confidence, and motivation.
- Blue - calm communication and emotional soothing.
- Green - growth, renewal, and heart-centered healing.
- Honey calcite - focus, personal power, and learning.

Prehnite is a green to yellowish-green colored mineral that belongs to the phyllosilicate family. It is composed of calcium, aluminum, and silicate, with traces of iron, magnesium, and other elements. Prehnite crystals have a unique pearly luster and can form in a variety of shapes, including tabular, prismatic, and stalactitic formations.
Prehnite is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and emotions, promoting relaxation and inner peace. It is also said to be a stone of unconditional love, compassion, and healing.

Chabazite is known for its distinctive crystal structure and its occurrence in a variety of geological environments. Its crystal structure consists of interconnected channels and cavities. Chabazite is found in various locations around the world, including Italy, Iceland, Scotland, the Faroe Islands, the United States (especially in the Pacific Northwest), Canada, India, and Australia. Different localities may produce chabazite crystals with varying colors and characteristics.
This chabazite crystal is from Wasson’s Bluff, Nova Scotia, Canada. Wasson's Bluff is recognized as producing great specimens with colors varying from pink to orange to red. This zone has seen collection of specimens almost exhausted due to the ground erosion. This particular specimen is a lovely orangey color and is in very good condition. Make this a special specimen in your collection.

Pseudomorphs are mineral specimens that have the external shape of one mineral but are composed of another. The pseudomorph goethite after marcasite forms when marcasite is exposed to oxidizing conditions and starts to oxidize and break down. As the marcasite breaks down, goethite replaces it in the crystal structure, preserving the shape of the original marcasite crystal. The resulting specimen appears as a marcasite crystal, but is actually composed of goethite.
The Farafra Oasis, in the White Desert, has been known for a number of years to deliver incredible pseudomorph specimens. The pseudomorphs occur within the Cretaceous Khoman Chalk, from which the White Desert derives its name.
This specimen is remarkable for its relatively sharp and bladed marcasite crystal form. It is in excellent condition.

An olivine volcanic bomb is a type of volcanic rock that contains olivine crystals and has been ejected during a volcanic eruption. Olivine is a mineral that is commonly found in the Earth's mantle and is one of the first minerals to crystallize as magma cools.
Volcanic bombs are large clots of lava that are ejected from a volcano during an explosive eruption. They can vary in size, and their shapes are often streamlined due to their molten nature as they are thrown through the air. When these volcanic bombs contain olivine crystals, they are referred to as olivine volcanic bombs.
This beautiful slice is completely surrounded by a lava crust and has been polished on both sides.
Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.
