Peruvian pyrite is famous worldwide for its well-formed, highly lustrous crystals. The country is one of the top sources for high-quality pyrite specimens, particularly from the Huanzala Mine in the Áncash Region and the Quiruvilca Mine in La Libertad. These locations produce stunning pyritohedral crystals, often found in association with quartz, sphalerite, and galena.
The term “pyritohedral” refers to a specific crystal habit that pyrite (and occasionally other minerals) can form. In this structure, the crystal takes on a polyhedral shape with 12 faces. However, unlike a perfectly symmetrical shape with identical pentagonal faces, natural pyritohedral crystals often exhibit slight irregularities or distortions in their faces.
Pyrite is known as a stone of protection, abundance, and confidence. It is believed to shield against negative energy and promote mental clarity and willpower.
This top Peruvian specimen is in very good condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

Unit price perStrontianite and Calcite on Matrix | 215 grams | Mandata, Pennsylvania, USA
$65.00 CAD
Unit price perThis is a specimen of Strontianite and calcite crystals on matrix from Mandata, Pennsylvania. Strontianite is a rare mineral made mostly of strontium carbonate and is an important source of the metal strontium. It usually forms in hydrothermal veins and limestone deposits, often found alongside minerals like calcite and fluorite. Strontianite can appear in different colors, including white, gray, yellow, green, or brown, and has a glassy or slightly shiny look. It was first discovered in Strontian, Scotland, which is how it got its name, and it can also be found in Germany, Italy, China, and parts of the United States. This mineral is mainly used to extract strontium, which is important for making red fireworks, ceramics, and special types of glass.
The top of the specimen is an exposed vug containing four sharp strontianite crystals sitting on a bed of small transparent calcite crystals. The strontianite fluoresces strongly white under long wave UV. The specimen is in excellent condition.
Name: Strontianite on Calcite Crystals

Unit price perDolomite on Sphalerite Crystals | 25 grams | Daniel's Harbor | Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
$22.00 CAD
Unit price perThis mineral combination is from a classic locality, the Newfoundland Zinc Mine, which has been closed for many years. This mine was a high grade zinc mine with very little contaminants in the ore which made it easier to mill and produced good concentrate. This site is known for beautiful mineral specimens, particularly sphalerite crystals often associated dolomite.
The sphalerite from this region typically appears as dark brown to black, resinous crystals, sometimes with red or orange undertones due to iron content. These crystals often serve as a striking backdrop for the light-colored dolomite, which forms as rhombohedral or curved aggregates on top. The contrasting colors and textures make specimens from Daniel’s Harbor highly collectible.
Very nice showy material in excellent condition and a collectors dream specimen.

Olivine Volcanic Bomb | Lava Coated Crystal | 149 gr | Mt Shadwell Volcano, Australia
$98.00 CAD
Unit price perOlivine Volcanic Bomb | Lava Coated Crystal | 149 gr | Mt Shadwell Volcano, Australia
$98.00 CAD
Unit price perAn olivine volcanic bomb is a type of volcanic rock that contains olivine crystals and has been ejected during a volcanic eruption. Olivine is a mineral that is commonly found in the Earth's mantle and is one of the first minerals to crystallize as magma cools.
Volcanic bombs are large clots of lava that are ejected from a volcano during an explosive eruption. They can vary in size, and their shapes are often streamlined due to their molten nature as they are thrown through the air. When these volcanic bombs contain olivine crystals, they are referred to as olivine volcanic bombs.
This piece has been cut to showcase the beautiful green olivine crystals. It would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card and a stand will also be included.

Fulgurite, also known as “fossilized lightning”, are natural glass tubes or formations that are created by the heat of lightning strikes. When a lightning bolt hits the ground it generates temperatures of up to 30,000 Kelvin (over 53,000°F), hotter than the surface of the sun. This intense heat melts the silica rich sand and fuses it almost instantly, forming hollow branching structures that solidify as they cool. In the Sahara Desert where thunderstorms occasionally roll in across the desert, these cooled formations can be found beneath the sand.
The fulgurites from the Sahara Desert are special because of their environment. The desert’s quartz rich sand is the perfect material for these glassy formations. Over time the wind blown sand often buries and preserves these delicate formations protecting them from erosion. Fulgurites are scientifically important because they trap the energy of the lightning and often preserve the composition of the atmosphere at the time of their creation. They are valuable to researchers studying geophysical processes and past climate conditions. And with their irregular shapes and glassy texture they are a sought after collectible for mineral enthusiasts and natural history museums. Of note, since Fulgurite is created by an impact of lightning hitting the ground, it cannot be called impactite as it is not created by a meteoritic event.
Fulgurite is often considered a symbol of transformation, energy, and connection to the divine, primarily due to its association with lightning. Some believe fulgurite carries the power of lightning itself—acting as a conduit between the physical and spiritual realms. It's said to help with spiritual awakening or to encourage personal growth by clearing blockages, especially when it comes to energy flow or communication with higher states of consciousness. Because of its fiery origins, it can be seen as a tool to help ignite creativity or insight, as lightning strikes are associated with sudden inspiration or illumination.
