Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell. It is one of few biogenic gemstones; others include amber and pearl. In 1981, the year commercial mining of ammolite began, ammolite was given official gemstone status by the World Jewellery Confederation.

These are perfectly fossilized and highly polished natural Ammonites from Morocco, which are perfect for gift giving to a new fossil collector. Ammonites are perhaps the most widely known fossil, possessing the typically ribbed spiral-form shell. These creatures lived in the seas between 240 - 65 million years ago, when they became extinct along with the dinosaurs. They belong to a group of predators known as cephalopods, which includes their living relatives the octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus. It is probably going to be one of the rarest collection item you'll ever own. These are perfect if you make jewelry and similar crafts or as a fossil collection item.

Amphibole is a group of dark-colored, complex silicate minerals that form in a variety of geological settings. The amphibole group includes several mineral species, such as hornblende, tremolite, actinolite, anthophyllite, and others. Each variety has its own unique chemical composition and physical properties.
Amphibole minerals can exhibit a range of colors, including dark green, black, brown, and even colorless. They often have a prismatic crystal habit, forming elongated crystals with distinct cleavage angles. They are commonly found in igneous and metamorphic rocks. They crystallize in magma and can also form during metamorphism when pre-existing rocks are subjected to high pressure and temperature.
This top specimen is in very good condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

Andalusite is a mineral that belongs to the silicate family. It is named after the region of Andalusia in Spain, where it was first discovered. One of the distinguishing features of andalusite is its ability to display pleochroism, which means that it can exhibit different colors when viewed from different angles. Common colors of andalusite include green, brown, and red-brown. This property makes andalusite a popular gemstone for use in jewelry.
Andalusite is believed to be grounding, stabilizing, and protective, creating a shield against negative energies. It is associated with spiritual growth, enhancing intuition and connecting with higher realms. Andalusite promotes balance, harmony, self-discovery, and inner strength.
