Stone Meteorites

Here we have for you a great looking end cut of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 9.2 grams. Its dimensions are 22x18x16 mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in Erfoud, Morocco in the Sahara desert in 2002.

It's a very good quality cut NWA meteorite specimen showing incredibly  interesting internal structure (L5?) and somewhat attractive with a mottled interior with chondrules and metallic flakes. This complete cut has very large iron inclusions, many chondrules and a nice black fusion crust.  Little weathering shows the meteorite's short time spent aging in the desert preserving a nice crusted look. Displays very nicely with a clean cut and polished finish.

Would be a great addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Here we have for you a nice looking tumbled individual of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 9.5 grams. Its dimensions are 30x24x8mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

This smooth tumbled NWA Meteorite would make a great Worry Stone, there is a perfect indent in it for a thumb.

This fascinating meteorite was mainly found as small individuals and the total weight of the 100's of pieces recovered is recorded as a low 25 kg. This is a great looking Gao-Guenie H5 classified meteorite slice weighing 1.03 grams. Its dimensions are 15x12x2 mm and it has a crusted edge. 

This H5 classified meteorite was observed falling at about 17:00 March 5, 1960 near the village of Gao in Africa. There is no total known weight recorded for this meteorite.

This is a great looking Dhofar 273 classified meteorite weighing 1.8 grams. Its dimensions are 23x10x5 mm.

This L5 classified meteorite was found in Zufar, Oman in 2001. The total weight of the single piece recovered is recorded as 2.085 kg and the meteorite has a shock stage of 4 and weathering grade of 3. This piece displays extremely well.
