Unit price perThis is a fantastic crusted 20.4 grams NWA (Northwest Africa) 869 L3-6 classified meteorite Individual found by Nomads in the Sahara Desert. The dimensions of the specimen are 30x23x19 mm.
NWA 869 classified meteorites can still be interesting and this one is for sure perfectly shaped to catch your attention. It displays a superb crust on most of its surface. Most samples are individual meteorites but some fragments (mostly >1 kg) also occur. In most cases the fusion crust has been polished or ablated by wind erosion. Many samples are more severely affected and show faces with deep wind erosion features. Fracture faces, formed by ground collision, show a typical gray-green color and sometimes visible brecciation (light and/or dark clasts).

Here we have for you a great looking two part cut of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 32 grams. Its dimensions are 35x31x16 mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in Erfoud, Morocco in the Sahara desert in 2002.
It's a very good quality cut NWA meteorite specimen showing incredibly interesting internal structure (L5?) and somewhat attractive with a mottled interior with chondrules and metallic flakes. This complete cut has very large iron inclusions, many chondrules and a nice black fusion crust. Little weathering shows the meteorite's short time spent aging in the desert preserving a nice crusted look. Displays very nicely with a clean cut and polished finish.

This is a great looking part slice of a Northwest Africa 2946 H3.8 classified meteorite. It weighs 8.2 grams and measures 34x18x5 mm. This meteorite was found in the Sahara Desert in 2005 and has a total recovered weight recorded as a low 149 grams. It has a Shock stage of 2 and a Weathering grade of 2. Very attractive highly shocked matrix. Nice metal in black shocked matrix.

Unit price perThis is a superb slice of the rare Northwest Africa 3134 meteorite, weighing 0.328 grams and measuring 11x10x1 mm. This is 1 of 136 approved meteorites classified as EL-6.
This 328mg part slice of NWA 3134 is a Rare EL6, W0/1 Enstatite Chondrite found in 2004 in the Sahara Desert. Enstatites are very rare, accounting for less than 2% of the chondrites. The interior of this meteorite is extremely fresh rating a W0 (no weathering). The W1 was added because of an exterior weathering rind, which hid the beauty of this specimen until it was cut. A total known weight of 970 grams is recorded for this find. Dual type specimens were submitted to two different institutions because rare minerals were found in an excellent state of preservation.
This hard to acquire piece displays very well with its diamond lap finish, it is a high quality specimen that would make an amazing addition to any new or existing collection. Comes in a membrane box with a Canagem and a Hupé specimen card.

Unit price perThis is a superb looking Spade meteorite part slice weighing 0.8 gram. This H6 chondrite classified meteorite was found in 2000 and has a total weight of 8.86 Kg.
This single mass of 8.86 kg was found in a grass field by Mr. J. Talbert while farming. The classification and mineralogy performed by R. Jones, UNM and A. Rubin, UCLA, determined it to be an annealed impact melt rock. It has a shock stage of S2 and a moderate weathering grade of W2.
