Special Care: Do not use silver dipping cleaning method with this pendant.  Use a dry cloth to wipe the stone and a polishing cloth for the silver.  Any liquid including perfumes can damage the stone over time so keep in a dry place.

This is an interesting specimen of Malachite on matrix from Conception del Oro, Mexico.  The specimen displays beautiful malachite that forms on the surface as small crystals. It is in very good condition.

Rutilated Quartz is a beautiful variety of Quartz that contains needle-like inclusions of the mineral Rutile. These golden, coppery, or silver-colored needle inclusions create unique patterns within the Quartz.

Fine crystal cluster of Quartz points surrounded by many Bornite and Pyrite crystals from the famous Leonard Mine at Butte. The nubby, matte-finish bornite crystal clusters are attractively scattered across the specimen with contrasting brassy pyrite crystals and quartz crystal points.

Sodalite is usually found in the massive form, rather than crystals. Its name is derived from its sodium content. This stone is frequently found with lapis lazuli, but contains little or no golden pyrite specks in it as lapis does. It may, however, contain patches or streaks of white calcite. Although some people think that sodalite resembles lapis in some ways, it is entirely different in chemical composition and has more of a navy blue coloring.

Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz, which is a mineral composed of silicon and oxygen. It is one of the most popular gemstones due to its beautiful color.  Amethyst ranges in color from light purple to deep violet. The color is caused by impurities of iron within the quartz crystal.  Amethyst can be found in various locations around the world, including Brazil, Uruguay, Russia, Zambia, and the United States.

Here we have for you a nice looking end cut of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 12 grams. Its dimensions are 27x27x8mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

It's a good quality individual cut fragment NWA meteorite specimen. Some weathering shows the meteorite's time spent aging in the desert. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Pseudomorphs are mineral specimens that have the external shape of one mineral but are composed of another.  The pseudomorph goethite after marcasite forms when marcasite is exposed to oxidizing conditions and starts to oxidize and break down. As the marcasite breaks down, goethite replaces it in the crystal structure, preserving the shape of the original marcasite crystal. The resulting specimen appears as a marcasite crystal, but is actually composed of goethite.

The Farafra Oasis, in the White Desert, has been known for a number of years to deliver incredible pseudomorph specimens. The pseudomorphs occur within the Cretaceous Khoman Chalk, from which the White Desert derives its name.

These specimens are remarkable for their relatively sharp marcasite crystal forms in aesthetic crystal clusters. They are in excellent condition.  This collector's specimen is unique, of great quality and ready for display.

Lapis lazuli or lapis for short, is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious gemstone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color.  This specimen shows deep blue with sparks of pyrite and is in great condition.

This is a great looking Dhofar 273 classified meteorite weighing 17 grams. Its dimensions are 50x31x5 mm.

This L5 classified meteorite was found in Zufar, Oman in 2001. The total weight of the single piece recovered is recorded as 2.085 kg and the meteorite has a shock stage of 4 and weathering grade of 3. This piece displays extremely well because of its beautiful shape and is a great size.

An olivine volcanic bomb is a type of volcanic rock that contains olivine crystals and has been ejected during a volcanic eruption. Olivine is a mineral that is commonly found in the Earth's mantle and is one of the first minerals to crystallize as magma cools.

Volcanic bombs are large clots of lava that are ejected from a volcano during an explosive eruption. They can vary in size, and their shapes are often streamlined due to their molten nature as they are thrown through the air. When these volcanic bombs contain olivine crystals, they are referred to as olivine volcanic bombs.
