This is a superb individual Tsarev meteorite weighing 122.9 grams. Its dimensions are 58x44x40 mm. Twenty-eight specimens of this L5 classified meteorite were found in fields. The largest mass weighs 284 kg, the smallest 761 gr with a total weight of 1.23 Tons. The greatest distance between the find sites was 6.0 km.
In 1968, amidst a global surge in conflicts, a remarkable discovery was made in a small village in Volgograd Oblast. This region, known as the primary site of the Battle of Stalingrad—one of the largest and bloodiest battles in history—yielded an extraordinary find in the quiet fields near the rural village of Tsarev.
The Tsarev meteorite, named after the Russian word for czar, is a stone meteorite responsible for one of the largest meteorite showers in Russian history. This meteorite shower occurred on December 6, 1922, but the stones were not discovered until 1968 and only recognized in 1979. The Tsarev meteorite's mineral composition matches that of ordinary chondrites, including olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, maskelynite, calcium phosphates, nickel-iron, troilite, chromite, ilmenite, and rutile.
Academic analysis of the Tsarev meteorite reveals significant features: large grains of nickel-iron, light grey areas with well-preserved chondritic texture, and dark areas containing a matrix with olivine grains and remnants of chondrules.

This is a superb looking partial slice of a Dhofar 492 classified meteorite weighing 7.15 grams and measuring 35x20x4 mm. This rare H classified meteorite was found in Oman in 2001. The total weight of the single piece recovered is recorded as a very low 281 grams. This meteorite has a weathering grade of 3, with no shock level recorded. This rare meteorite is 1 of only 114 approved meteorites classified as H, the majority of which were discovered in Antarctica.

The total known weight for this meteorite is 12.93 kg and it has a Shock stage of 2 and Weathering of 2. This is 1 of only 193 meteorites classified as L5/6.

Polylithionite and Aegirine from Poudrette Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire (MSH), Quebec, represent a classic mineral association from one of the world's most important alkaline intrusive complexes. Polylithionite is a rare lithium-rich mica that typically forms thin, lustrous hexagonal plates or rosettes with a silvery, pearly, or pale bronze appearance. It commonly occurs alongside Aegirine, which develops as long, dark green to black prismatic crystals Aegirine crystals that are often sharply terminated and may occur individually or in radiating spray. The contrasting crystal habits and colors create an attractive natural association that is characteristic of Mont Saint-Hilaire.

This is a specimen of Star Mica or Muscovite and Quartz cluster. These clusters show crystals that grow in sheets or book formations. It is silvery gold with good transparency when held up to the light. The name Muscovite comes from the term Muscovy Glass which was a name for the thick sheets of Mica used as a substitute for glass Russia. The name Mica is derived from the Greek word that means to split.
On this nice specimen, the matrix faces are covered with beautiful golden yellow point stars of muscovite mica, a typical shape for this rare mica formation. The stars are the result of twinning; the points show a bit of wear but this does not detract from the beauty of such a piece.

Serandite forms beautiful salmon-pink to orange-pink prismatic crystals, while Aegirine grows as glossy black, often sharply terminated blades, that may occur individually or in radiating sprays. These minerals are often accompanied by white Albite or Analcime, producing beautiful specimens.

This is an incredible green/yellow fluorapatite crystal from Cerro del Mercado (Iron Mountain) at Durango, Mexico. It is completely free of the matrix and has a relatively perfect termination. The specimen came from the Earl Calvert Collection.
At Cerro de Mercado numerous veins containing gemmy, lemon-yellow to greenish fluorapatite crystals cut through the hematite massif. These crystals have been collected for decades from the area's iron mines, but they have become much scarcer with recent mechanization of the mining operations.
The bright, lustrous apatite crystals form hexagonal shapes with off-center terminations. They are found in vugs, often associated with quartz and calcite. Most crystals are around an inch in length, though larger crystals up to about 4 inches long have been found.

This is a fabulous NWA 2781 meteorite slice weighing 8.6 grams and measuring 37x31x3 mm. It was found in the Northwest African Desert in 2004 and is classified as an L4-5 Chondrite. A low TKW of 528 grams in two pieces were recovered. This is 1 of only 32 approved meteorites classified as L4-5.
