This is a nice group of small yellow wulfenite crystals on matrix from Total Wreck Mine, Arizona.  Wulfenite from the Total Wreck Mine is known for producing small but attractive crystals, usually in shades of yellow to orange-yellow. The crystals from this mine tend to be thin, tabular, and sometimes slightly translucent, often growing on a contrasting, earthy matrix.

While the Total Wreck Mine isn’t as famous as places like the Red Cloud Mine for wulfenite, it has still yielded pieces that are valued by collectors, especially because Arizona as a whole is renowned for producing some of the world’s finest wulfenite. Specimens from Total Wreck are typically more modest in size and brightness but are appreciated for their historic mining context and authentic desert character.

Wulfenite is often associated with creativity, emotional balance, and perseverance. Some believe it helps connect the heart and the will, encouraging people to follow their passions even through difficult or uncertain times. Wulfenite is also thought to support emotional healing by helping release old attachments and clearing a path for new experiences.

This is a fantastic Impactite Fallback Breccia from Germany weighing 33.3 grams and measuring 65x49x8mm. Although not a meteorite, impactites and shatter cones are directly linked to them and their impacts. The Steinheim Basin today exhibits a distinct morphological depression that is ∼110 m deep and ∼3.5 km in diameter; the height of the central uplift totals to more than 140 m. The original size of the pristine crater is estimated to be ∼3.8 km with an original depth of ∼205 m.

As this drainless morphological depression was filled by lake sediments shortly after the impact, the primary crater morphology is widely preserved. The crater rim is formed by steeply inclined and intensely brecciated Upper Jurassic limestone blocks that also contain numerous shattered chert nodules, as well as some loose blocks of the host limestone. An impact breccia, referred to as the so-called ”Primäre Beckenbrekzie” (“primary basin breccia”) and interpreted as a “fallback breccia”, is known from many drillings in the Steinheim Basin.

Mainly composed of Middle to Upper Jurassic limestones, marls, mudstones, and sandstones, the impact breccia inside the morphological depression of the Steinheim Basin is overlain by lake sediments and is obviously preserved in its original thickness and position.   This piece displays very well and is a very nice size showing multiple characteristics of its origin. Would make a beautiful addition to any collection.

This is a great 22 gram Impact Melt Breccia from the Gardnos Crater in Norway.  It is amazingly light considering its mass of 56x28x9mm. Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection item you'll ever own. Impactite is a slag-like glassy object found on the surface of the earth, formed from rock melted by the impact of a meteorite.

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc.

This impactite was formed between 385 and 900 million years ago in Precambrian time when a meteorite crashed into the earth making a ~5 kilometers wide crater locally known as the Hallingdal Impact Crater.

This amazing specimen of Vesuvianite was collected in the now closed Jeffery Mine in Asbestos, Québec, Canada. The specimen is made up of a combination of green and mauve vesuvianite crystals also named violet manganoan vesuvianite. It is a large specimen in good condition. A great addition to any collection!

Vesuvianite was first discovered on Mount Vesuvius in Italy in the 18th century, hence its name. It typically occurs as a green, brown, yellow, or blue-green crystal, and is often found in metamorphic and igneous rocks. The alternate name, Idocrase, is from the Greek eidos “form”, and krasis “mixture”, because Vesuvianite often appears to combine the crystal forms of other minerals. It is used as a gemstone.

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc.  This impactite was formed approx. 89 million years ago when a meteorite crashed into the earth.

This is a rare and fantastic 8.5 gram Libyan Desert Glass from Kuffra, Libya, with dimensions of 32x18x17 mm.  Although its exact origin is still debated, the leading theory suggests it was formed by a high-energy event, such as a meteoric impact or airburst, that melted the desert sand directly where it lay, without being ejected into the atmosphere and re-entering. This results in different physical characteristics compared to tektites​.

Libyan Desert Glass is found specifically in the Great Sand Sea of the Eastern Sahara, within a more localized area spanning parts of western Egypt and eastern Libya.  Characterized by its yellow to greenish-yellow color, it lacks the aerodynamic shapes of tektites and often appears as irregularly shaped pieces. It is almost pure silica (around 98%) with very few impurities. Throughout history, it has been regarded as a mystical and powerful material, sometimes used in talismans and amulets.

This piece displays extremely well and is a quality translucent specimen. It has an aesthetic shape with a beautiful wind eroded body from the years spent in the Desert. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Vanadinite crystals are small, hexagonal prismatic crystals that are typically red to brownish-red in color. They have a bright luster and a transparent to translucent appearance. The crystals often form in aggregates, creating intricate and interesting formations.  Vanadinite would hardly be as famous if not for the outstanding locality of Mibladen, Morocco. This locality has by far produced the most outstanding crystals of beautiful color and form. 

Vanadinite is believed to enhance vitality, motivation, and manifestation, while also promoting clarity, focus, and protection from negativity.

While it's commonly colorless or white, Calcite can also appear in various hues, including shades of green, blue, yellow, orange, red, brown, and even black.  This sphere is a beautiful example of yellow calcite.  The coloration is often due to impurities or exposure to different minerals during formation.  Calcite is typically transparent to translucent, allowing light to pass through and sometimes exhibit a phenomenon called double refraction.  is found throughout the world in sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks.

Calcite is associated with clarity, amplification of energy, and cleansing.  It is believed it can help with emotional healing, motivation, and creativity.

This is a nice looking individual fragment of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite. It weighs 81.1 grams and measures 51x37x25 mm. This never classified Northwest Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

This is a lovely pink Stilbite specimen from Parsboro, Cape d'Or, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was collected in 2002 and is a miniature size group of well terminated crystals with nice sharp edges. 

Stilbite is a zeolite mineral appreciated for its delicate crystal formations and pastel hues, ranging from colorless to white, yellow, pink, and peach.  It forms distinctive tabular crystals with a bowtie or butterfly shape and exhibits a vitreous to pearly luster. Commonly found in cavities in volcanic rocks, stilbite is often associated with other zeolite minerals. 

Stilbite is believed to have soothing and spiritually uplifting qualities, often associated with promoting emotional healing, inner peace, and mental clarity. Many consider it helpful for enhancing spiritual connection, deepening meditation, and supporting dream recall or lucid dreaming. Often linked to the heart chakra, it is thought to encourage love, compassion, and the release of emotional wounds. Peruvian pyrite is famous worldwide for its well-formed, highly lustrous crystals. The country is one of the top sources for high-quality pyrite specimens, particularly from the Huanzala Mine in the Áncash Region and the Quiruvilca Mine in La Libertad. These locations produce stunning pyritohedral crystals, often found in association with quartz, sphalerite, and galena.

The term “pyritohedral” refers to a specific crystal habit that pyrite (and occasionally other minerals) can form. In this structure, the crystal takes on a polyhedral shape with 12 faces. However, unlike a perfectly symmetrical shape with identical pentagonal faces, natural pyritohedral crystals often exhibit slight irregularities or distortions in their faces.

Pyrite is known as a stone of protection, abundance, and confidence.  It is believed to shield against negative energy and promote mental clarity and willpower.
