This is a stunning Campo del Cielo classified meteorite slice weighing 198.83 grams. Its dimensions are 111x130x3 mm with a great surface to weight ratio.
This Iron (IAB-MG) classified meteorite was found in Chaco Argentina in 1576. So far approximately 50 Tons of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well showing a beautifully etched pattern and was coated with a rust protectant.
These pieces are becoming more difficult to acquire so this is a good time to get a fine specimen. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.
