This rarely offered specimen shows a group of minerals and crystals from the Aris Querries in Namibia . The grouping includes multiples of Makatite white fibres, brown to green fibres of tupperssautsiatite, black neptunite, dark brown bastneasite and pink villiaumite on host rock matrix.  

Makatite is a rare hydrated sodium silicate found in Namibia's unique intrusive phonolite deposits. These uncommon geological formations have produced some of the finest and most sought-after makatite crystals known. This piece is excellent for the species with groups of silky white crystals at the tip of the specimen.  The white zone makes a great contrast with the gray phonolite.  Add the other visible variety of crystals and you have a unique and amazing specimen.  This is a rare and excellent cabinet sized piece from this locality.
