Millbillillie Meteorite | 3.86 Gr | Full Slice | ELKK Specimen | AEUC-M Premium | Australia | SO24

Here we have for you a fantastic looking, edge crusted full slice, observed fall Millbillillie Eucrite classified meteorite weighing 3.86 grams. Its dimensions are 29x19x3 mm.

This famous Achondrite Eucrite classified meteorite was recovered by Station workers, F. Vicenti and F. Quadrio which observed a fireball while opening a gate in the boundary fence on the Millbillillie - Jundee track. An object "with sparks coming off it" fell into a spinifex plain to their north. No search was immediately initiated, but D. Vicenti and M. Finch found two stones in this plain in 1970 and 1971. The total weight recovered is recorded as 25.4 Kilograms.

This gorgeous monomict breccia meteorite displays handsomely with its clay encrustation, abundant flow lines and the glossy fusion crust that still remains.   The specimen comes with two specimen cards and a stand.  It will ship in a specimen box for protection. This specimen is from The ELKK Meteorites collection, it displays extremely well and would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.
