Pyrite Crystal Cluster | Sharp Cubes | 26.18 Grams | Madan, Bulgaria | SO24

A fantastic Cubic and crystallized pyrite crystal cluster.  We have included pictures taken in both the sun and the shade, to show the beauty of this cluster.

The Lead–Zinc deposits of Madan Ore Field (Southwest Rhodope Mountains) were operated by the Turks in the Middle Ages.  Greek coins from Thasos island dating from the 14th century AD, have been found in the ancient galleries, as well as name of the "Madan" field, which in Turkish means "Ore" originates from that time.

This top specimen is in perfect condition. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.
