This is an amazing, large cluster of Okenite with Gyrolite, Quartz and Prehnite Geode Crystal from Dindoshi Quarry, Mumbai, India. This is a high quality geode with outstanding, perfect okenite spheres and tons of Prehnite.  Since this is a geode type specimen all of the okenite hairs are perfectly intact with no damage to any crystal.  Would be a beautiful addition to any collection.

Himalayan Quartz refers to quartz crystals originating from the Himalayan mountain range, a region with complex geological activity. These crystals, found in various formations and sizes, exhibit clear to milky white coloration and may contain unique inclusions. The mining of Himalayan Quartz involves extracting crystals from the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas, often requiring careful and manual extraction methods due to the challenging terrain.  A fracture of the base matrix, shown in photos, is firm and solid and not showing any movement.  It appears to have been caused by the pressure of the internal crystal growth.  This beautiful piece will be expertly packaged in an insulated double box system. 

Kullu Valley is a broad open valley in Himachal Pradesh, India, formed by the Beas River between Manali and Larji. This valley is famous for its temples, According to Hindu mythology, the valley is regarded as the cradle of all humankind..

This is a section of a colorful Precambrian rock material green Mica (muscovite) from Eastern Ontario Area and an excellent example of Grenville metamorphism. The name is derived from the Greek word that means to split.

The Grenville Orogen is a deeply eroded and highly uplifted orogenic belt that extends from Labrador in northeastern Canada to the Adirondack Mountains and southwestward under the coastal plain of the eastern United States. It developed from about 1.5 to 1 billion years ago.

Schist is faliated medium grade metamorphic rock. It formed by metamorphosis of mudstone and shale or some form of igneous rock. It usually has better crystallization of mica minerals. This is called schistosity texture. There are many types of this rock so they may be named for mineral comprising the actual rock for example Mica schist.

Another fantastic mineral from Quebec! The front of the specimen is covered with many sharp quartz, siderite and albite crystals. The back of the specimen is mostly small smoky quartz crystals. It is in very good condition.

This is a beautiful self standing cluster of dark purple amethyst cactus quartz crystals. This deep color is no longer being produced from this locality, so don't miss out! None of the many tips are damaged.  

Cactus Quartz is also known as Spirit Quartz, Barnacle Quartz, Pineapple Quartz or Porcupine Quartz.   It is found only in South Africa and Its colors range from white, yellowish brown, lilac, purple, to grey brown.

This is a section of a vein that has Molybdenite in feldspar from Western Ontario. This specimen also features a neat little pocket filled with some nice microcrystal species.  

Molybdenite, molybdenum sulfide, is the major ore mineral of molybdenum. It was rarely found as crystals, but is commonly found as foliated masses in Ontario. This means the mineral forms folia or layers, like the mineral mica. It is metallic gray, has a greasy feel, and is very soft at only 1 on Mohs' hardness scale. Its softness, metallic luster and gray color led scientists to mistakenly believe it was a lead mineral. Geologically, molybdenite forms in high-temperature environments such as in igneous rocks. Some molybdenite forms when igneous bodies contact rock and metamorphose, or change, the rock. This is called contact metamorphism

This is a beautiful piece of colored sea agate from the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia. It features Lavender, white and red colors and even a couple of druse pockets making it a quality lapidary material.

This is a quality lapidary material with a nicely contrasted piece of dark blue sodalite var. hackmanite and white microcline from the famous Mont-Saint-Hilaire in Quebec. It is highly florescent orange under Longwave UltraViolet (LUV) Light. 

Sodalite is usually found in the massive form, rather than crystals. Its name is derived from its sodium content. This stone is frequently found with lapis lazuli, but contains little or no golden pyrite specks in it as lapis does. It may, however, contain patches or streaks of white calcite. Although some people think that sodalite resembles lapis in some ways, it is entirely different in chemical composition and has more of a navy blue coloring. Would be a quality lapidary material or a beautiful addition to any new or existing rock collection.
