This is a rare and fantastic 40 gram Libyan Desert Glass from Kuffra, Libya, with dimensions of 57x39x26 mm. 

Although its exact origin is still debated, the leading theory suggests it was formed by a high-energy event, such as a meteoric impact or airburst, that melted the desert sand directly where it lay, without being ejected into the atmosphere and re-entering. This results in different physical characteristics compared to tektites​. Libyan Desert Glass is found specifically in the Great Sand Sea of the Eastern Sahara, within a more localized area spanning parts of western Egypt and eastern Libya.

The distinctive "cat's eye" effect in this Chrysoberyl is caused by the reflection of light off parallel needle-like inclusions within the crystal. When the gem is cut en cabochon, a concentrated, bright band of light appears to move across the surface as the stone is rotated.

Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl comes in various colors, such as green, yellow, and golden-brown.  It is a durable gemstone, scoring 8.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it suitable for various types of jewelry.  Significant sources of Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl include Sri Lanka, Brazil, India, Myanmar, and Madagascar. 

Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl is believed to possess metaphysical properties associated with protection, intuition, and good fortune. Some traditions consider it a talisman for enhancing insight and awareness.

This is a superb looking Dhofar 947 classified meteorite weighing 38.40 grams. Its dimensions are 97x49x6 mm.

This L5-6 classified meteorite was found in Oman in 2002. The total known weight of the single piece recovered is recorded as an incredibly low 170 grams; the meteorite has a shock stage of 3 and weathering grade of 2.

This piece displays extremely well as it was professionally cut in a way to expose the interior and allow it to sit perfectly on a table.  The cut faces are polished to allow a clear view of this beautiful and rare material.  There are just over 40 kilos recorded worldwide of various classified L5-6 meteorites and you will own approximately a quarter of this rare find that is the Dho 947.

This is a superb looking Gold Basin meteorite weighing 24.22 grams. Its dimensions are 39x27x23 mm. This L4 classified meteorite was first found in Mojave, Arizona in 1995.
