The distinctive "cat's eye" effect in this Chrysoberyl is caused by the reflection of light off parallel needle-like inclusions within the crystal. When the gem is cut en cabochon, a concentrated, bright band of light appears to move across the surface as the stone is rotated.

Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl comes in various colors, such as green, yellow, and golden-brown.  It is a durable gemstone, scoring 8.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it suitable for various types of jewelry.  Significant sources of Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl include Sri Lanka, Brazil, India, Myanmar, and Madagascar.

This is a superb looking Dhofar 947 classified meteorite weighing 38.40 grams. Its dimensions are 97x49x6 mm.

This L5-6 classified meteorite was found in Oman in 2002. The total known weight of the single piece recovered is recorded as an incredibly low 170 grams; the meteorite has a shock stage of 3 and weathering grade of 2.

This piece displays extremely well as it was professionally cut in a way to expose the interior and allow it to sit perfectly on a table.  The cut faces are polished to allow a clear view of this beautiful and rare material.  There are just over 40 kilos recorded worldwide of various classified L5-6 meteorites and you will own approximately a quarter of this rare find that is the Dho 947.

This is a superb looking individual cut fragment of the  Gold Basin meteorite weighing 24.22 grams. Its dimensions are 39x27x23 mm. This L4 classified meteorite was first found in Mojave, Arizona in 1995.

This piece looks fantastic, showing a fusion crust and is a very desirable size perfect to show in class or at a science show.

This is a beautiful sample of the famous iron meteorite Campo del Cielo (Heaven’s Field in Spanish) that was found in Chaco Province, Argentina, in 1576 by Spanish explorers.  This is a solid iron individual meteorite classified as IAB Silicated.  This incredible specimen has many large regmaglypts and scoops (or thumb prints).

This meteorite is classified as an Iron polycrystalline coarse octahedrite (IAB).  It weighs 7.4 Kg (16.4 Lbs) and measures 19x14x11 cm (7.5x5.5x4.3 inches).

This piece displays extremely well and is a very desirable size.  It is a great example of this iron type meteorite.  Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.  Would make a beautiful addition to any collection.

Here we have for you a nice looking individual fragment of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 110.70 grams. Its dimensions are 66x40x27 mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

It's a good quality individual fragment NWA meteorite specimen. Some weathering shows the meteorite's time spent aging in the desert. As highlighed in the photos, there are grains of sand still wedged into one of the crevices of the specimen.  Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.
