This is a rare and fantastic 16.72 gram Libyan Desert Glass from Kuffra, Libya, with dimensions of 40x25x14 mm. 

Although its exact origin is still debated, the leading theory suggests it was formed by a high-energy event, such as a meteoric impact or airburst, that melted the desert sand directly where it lay, without being ejected into the atmosphere and re-entering. This results in different physical characteristics compared to tektites​. Libyan Desert Glass is found specifically in the Great Sand Sea of the Eastern Sahara, within a more localized area spanning parts of western Egypt and eastern Libya.

This Quartz crystal originated in China and is 13 mm in length..

This crystal originated in China and is 52 mm in length.

Here we have for you a nice looking individual fragment of a Sahara Desert NWA unclassified meteorite weighing 57.83 grams. Its dimensions are 51x44x20 mm. This never classified North West Africa stone was found in the Sahara desert around 2000.

It's a good quality individual fragment NWA meteorite specimen. Some weathering shows the meteorite's time spent aging in the desert.  Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

This is an individual Northwest Africa or NWA 4293 formerly known as NQ10, an H6 chondrite found in the Sahara desert in 2005.  It is one of 5854 approved meteorites classified as such. The meteorite weighs 13.29 grams with dimensions of 29x25x11 mm.  

This fascinating meteorite was mainly found as small individuals and the total weight of the 100's of pieces recovered is recorded as a low 25 kg. The meteorite has a shock stage of 4 and weathering grade of 2.  NWA 4293 is interesting in the way it looks as can be seen in the images.  Most pieces are free of caliche, have a smooth gray surface and are small complete individuals.  The unusual appearance is due to shock hardening and being sandblasted in the desert.

This specimen comes with a Canagem specimen card.  Would make a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection.

This is a superb looking Sayh al Uhaymir or SaU 001 meteorite weighing 70.25 grams. Its dimensions are 47x37x29 mm. This L4-5 classified meteorite was part of the 1000 stones found in Oman the 16 March 2000 with a total mass of 450 Kg. The shock stage of S2 and weathering grade of W1 is recorded for these pieces.

This piece looks fantastic, showing a remnant of fusion crust and is a very desirable size perfect to show in class or at a science show.  The material left to pick from is mostly small specimen so one of this size is even more difficult to find.

This is a rare and fantastic 35.9 Ct. or 7.18 grams Moldavite Melt Glass impactite found in Chlum Region, Czech Republic, in 2004.  It has dimensions of 32x29x9 mm. 

Moldavite is a green/olive earthen melt glass, created by a massive Meteorite Impact at the Noerdlinger Ries in Bavaria, Germany, about 14.8 million years ago.  This molten globules then rained down after their space flight in the Moldau River Valley, north of Prague in the Czech Republic. Hence the name Moldavite. They were discovered at the end of the 18th century.

This piece displays extremely well and is a quality translucent specimen worthy of only the best collections. It has an aesthetic shape with a beautiful pitted body. Would be a beautiful addition to any new or existing collection. Comes with a Canagem Collection specimen card.

Labradorite is an unusual mineral. It can display a beautiful iridescent play of colors, caused by internal fractures in the mineral that reflect light back and forth, dispersing it into different colors. This effect, known as labradorescence, gives Labradorite its appeal and fame.

The mineral is a type of feldspar, with thin layers that refract white light, showing dark blue, green, purple and several other shades. Those flashes of colour are what give it its labradorescence, and what makes the stone both pretty and valuable

Herkimer Diamonds are beautiful double-terminated quartz crystals which are found mainly in Herkimer County, New York. Incredibly, these phenomenal gemstones are believed to be close to five hundred million years old. The crystals are magnificent works of nature found in the rock, appearing to have been precision cut by man and having a diamond-like geometrical shape; thus, the name Herkimer Diamond.  Many collectors believe the Herkimer Diamond should rival a true diamond and their reasoning for this is that a true diamond found in the rough is exactly that, a rough appearing glass-like stone. The diamond must be painstakingly cut by man to give it smooth faces and a geometrical shape.

In fact, Herkimer Diamonds are not diamonds.  A true diamond is one of the hardest elements known to man, scoring a ten on a one to ten hardness scale.  Herkimer Diamonds are harder than all quartz crystals. They fall at about 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, giving the real diamond a close race.  For comparison, many man-made steels barely score a seven on the hardness scale.

This stone is said to energize, enliven, and promote creativity.  The smaller, exceptionally clear stones are said to be powerful attunement crystals, stimulating psychic abilities, such as clairvoyance, spiritual vision, and telepathy.  It is also said that Herkimer attunes people and links them together when they have to be parted if each person has a stone.
