Prehnite is a green to yellowish-green colored mineral that belongs to the phyllosilicate family. It is composed of calcium, aluminum, and silicate, with traces of iron, magnesium, and other elements. Prehnite crystals have a unique pearly luster and can form in a variety of shapes, including tabular, prismatic, and stalactitic formations.

Prehnite is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and emotions, promoting relaxation and inner peace. It is also said to be a stone of unconditional love, compassion, and healing.

This is a great looking Russian Sikhote-Alin classified meteorite weighing 20.2 grams. Its dimensions are 29x26X13mm. This Iron (IIAB) Coarsest Octahedrite classified meteorite was recovered in Russia after the fall of February 12, 1947.

So far approximately 23 tons of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well and is a very desirable size. These specimens are known as shrapnel specimens, ripped and torn edges reminiscent of bomb shrapnel. They broke due to atmospheric pressure and/or mid-air collisions, and possibly explosive fragmentation upon impact. These pieces are a good example of the shrapnel type Sikhote-Alin.

This is a great looking part slice of the Ashmore Olivine-Bronzite H5 Chondrite classified meteorite.  The part slice weighs 0.4 grams.

A mass of 55.4 kg was found in 1969 by Paul Caughron during deep plowing. It lay at a depth of approximately 18 inches within the soil, with its large side down and its nose up.

This is a must have 506.7-gram Impact Melt Breccia, also referred to as Suevite, coming from Zipplingen and the famous Ries crater Germany. Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection items you'll ever own. Impactite is a slag-like glassy object found on the surface of the earth, formed from rock melted by the impact of a meteorite.

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc. This impactite was formed 14.5 million years ago in Malmian or Jurassic limestone when a meteorite crashed into the earth making a ~10 miles wide crater named the Ries crater in Germany. This gorgeous end piece displays very well and shows typical inclusions of glass bomb as the dark material and crystalline fragments visible throughout the specimen showing the stages of shock metamorphism.

Named after the town of Rochechouart, the Rochechouart impact structure is located on the western margin of the French Massif Central near the city of Limoges, approximately 350 km (220 mi) south of Paris.  Rochechouart (population about 3800) is built with rocks created or modified by the impact (impactites).

The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc. This impactite was formed 186 million years ago.   This deformed rock fragments and partly molten are imbedded in a melt matrix showing typical flow structures from former melt.

Indochinite is a variety of the mineral tektite, which is a natural glass formed by the intense heat and pressure of a meteorite impact.  These tektites are usually found as small, aerodynamically shaped objects, often teardrop or irregular in shape, resulting from the molten material solidifying as it cooled rapidly after being ejected from the impact site.

Indochinites are believed to have formed around 780,000 to 800,000 years ago, following a significant meteorite impact event that likely created the Southeast Asian tektite strewn field.  The strewn field is quite large, and the tektites can be found scattered over a vast area which includes Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.
