Impactite is a slag-like glassy object found on the surface of the earth, formed from rock melted by the impact of a meteorite.
The term impactite encompasses shock-metamorphosed target rocks, melts or suevites and mixtures of the two, as well as sedimentary rocks with significant impact-derived components and shocked mineral grains, tektites, anomalous geochemical signatures, etc. This impactite was formed approx. 89 million years ago when a meteorite crashed into the earth.

Indochinite is a variety of the mineral tektite, which is a natural glass formed by the intense heat and pressure of a meteorite impact. These tektites are usually found as small, aerodynamically shaped objects, often teardrop or irregular in shape, resulting from the molten material solidifying as it cooled rapidly after being ejected from the impact site.
Indochinites are believed to have formed around 780,000 to 800,000 years ago, following a significant meteorite impact event that likely created the Southeast Asian tektite strewn field. The strewn field is quite large, and the tektites can be found scattered over a vast area which includes Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.

This is a superb looking Arroyo Aguiar meteorite part slice weighing 1.57 grams and measuring 16x8x3 mm. This H5 chondrite classified meteorite fell in the summer of 1950. The total weight of the single stone is 7.45 Kg.
The meteorite was seen to fall by a rancher who found it soon after. It had penetrated some 50 cm into the soil. The meteorite fell near the railway Station Arroyo Aguiar, La Capital Department, Santa Fe Province, Argentina.

This is a large 196.3 gram uniquely shaped Rizalite Tektite, with a beautiful pitted body, from Rizal Province, Philippines. Although not a meteorite, tektite is directly linked to them or their impacts, just consider its age of around 710,000 years old.

This is an incredible slice of the Big Rock Donga meteorite (MB 71) found in Nullarbor, South Australia in 1970. Just a single stone of this H6 meteorite was found - by an old trapper who used the stone to plug up a rabbit burrow to keep the rabbits from escaping! It remained on a sheep farm for many years before finally being recognised as meteoric in 1989.
The matrix is grey/green and mottled, with dark coloured chondrules, lots and lots of fine grained metal flake and dark fusion crust on some specimens. This is a very appealing, difficult to obtain meteorite which is not markedly weathered. . This rare and highly collectable H6 Chondrite is 1 of only 197 approved meteorites from South Australia. The total Mass is registered at 19 Kilograms and this is a nice piece at 3.98 grams with dimensions of 32x23x2 mm.

This is a rare 21.69-gram Kamensk Crater Impactite end cut specimen from the impact crater located 10 to 15 kilometres (6.2 to 9.3 mi) to the north of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky town in Rostov Oblast, Russia. Its dimensions are 57x43x12 mm.
Kamensk crater is 25 km (16 mi) in diameter and the age is estimated to be 49.0 ± 0.2 million years old (Eocene). The crater is not exposed at the surface. It may have formed at the same time as the smaller and nearby Gusev crater. Although not a meteorite, impactites are directly linked to them and their impacts and are probably going to be one of the rarest collection pieces you'll ever own.

This is a great looking end cut Gao-Guenie H5 classified meteorite weighing 18.98 grams. Its dimensions are 35x27x21 mm and it has a crusted edge.

This incredible specimen of Epidote is dominated by numerous tiny crystals. This specimen could easily pass for gem-quality, with its deep forest-green color which is often described as "pistachio", which is quite striking in a well colored specimens. The crystals themselves show good, clean faces and distinct, though somewhat incomplete terminations, associated with many nice clear quartz crystal points! Some quartz points are incomplete and damaged but overall this specimen is in good condition.

Here we have for you a superb and fresh looking Stony-iron or Mesosiderite Vaca Muerta (Dead Cow) classified meteorite end cut weighing 10.42 grams. Its dimensions are 26x18x10 mm.
This classified meteorite was found in 1861 in the driest desert of the world called the Atacama, in Chile. Mesosiderites are formed on the surface of a parent body as a result of impacts with another body. The impact mixed broken fragments of surface eucrites with iron and olivine from deep within the body. Eucrites are believed to have come from the asteroid Vesta. Analysis has shown, however, that the Vaca Muerta eucrite inclusions are not consistent with other eucrites and possibly originated on a different parent body. Although most have a weathered exterior, they also have lots of metal inside and can be prepared and cut to show this.

Thuathe Meteorite | 8.29 gr | Full Slice | H4-5 Chondrite | Observed Fall | Lesotho
This is a great looking complete slice of the Thuathe H4-5 classified meteorite. It weighs 8.29 grams and measures 36x30x4 mm.
A meteorite travelling east to west exploded over Lesotho producing an elliptical strewn field extending 7.4 by 1.9 km (bearing: ~276°) on the westernmost lobe of the Thuathe (or Berea) Plateau, ~12 km east of the capital city of Maseru.
The explosion was accompanied by an extraordinarily loud, 15 s long noise which was heard over a large (100 km radius) area of Lesotho; the fall was eye-witnessed by several people who reported sightings of dust trails of “sparkling objects” over Lesotho and the southern part of the Free State Province of South Africa. Many villagers of Ha Ralimo, Boqate Ha Majara, and Boqate Ha Sofonia reported falls of stones close to themselves and onto their homes. The estimated total mass of recovered material is ~30 kg, including 418 stones in the 2 g to 2.4 kg mass range for a total of 24.673 kg which were collected and catalogued by A. Ashworth and David P. Ambrose
Most freshly cut slices from several stones show a homogeneous beige to light-grey lithology speckled with abundant and heterogeneously distributed (20% to, in exceptional cases, >50 vol%) metal particles; some are crosscut by dark shock veinlets and show brecciated structure with light grey matrix surrounding lighter colored, well-rounded inclusions; chondrules distinctly recognizable.

This is a rare Iron ungrouped classified Taza Northwest Africa 859 specimen, in an as found state. It weighs 2.8 grams and measures 14x11x5 mm.
The NWA 859 was found in 2001 in Taza, Morocco. A total weight of 75.3 kg of mostly small pieces was classified by UCLA as an Iron, ungrouped; it is one of 157 meteorites classified as such.
